Heart2Heart Toastmasters is hosting a FREE Speechcraft Program to help launch the new Toastmaster Club: Oakland Leaders. This club is designed for politicians, business and nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs and anyone who wants to make a positive difference in Oakland and beyond.

This Speechcraft is an 8-session training program designed to teach public speaking and leadership. During the program, participants are trained in a variety of skills including: Topic Selection, Organizing Your Speech, Handling Public Speaking Fear, Vocal Variety, Using Body Language, Time management and so much more.

Toastmasters is a world-wide nonprofit organization with clubs in over 140 countries. It is renowned for creating a supportive learning environment for speakers to improve their communication and leadership skills.

Mondays,
5:15-5:30 pm – Networking/Registration
5:30-7:30 pm – Speechcraft Program
August 19 – October 21, 2019
(No meeting on Labor Day or Columbus Day)
Held at a private venue by the lake. Location will be provided after registration. Off-street, secure free parking

All participants will benefit from these in-depth communication and leadership trainings. You will participate in cohort breakout sessions under the guidance of Communication and Leadership Advisors. You will also be invited to present short impromptu speeches called Table Topics.

Special Club Member Benefits and Privileges:

When you join Oakland Leaders Club ($80 for six months):
— You become a Charter Member of the club.
— You will have the opportunity to present up to 4 speeches to your cohort group.
